Have seen the trailgear sliders installed on the fj60...anyone interested in giving a quick rundown on installation? '87 fj60

I would do 2bads before TG..

I just bent up some tubes for sliders for my truck, ill post some pics after they get finished on sunday. I did a u that ties into the frame with a upward kick to protect the doors, and im gonna run another tube right behind the rocker, and tie that to both the frame and the outer loop. It should come out well. Cost wise even at 3.50 a foot for DOM its gonna take probably a stick and half to finish, so its in the ballpark of the TG stuff even homemade.

Aww come on.. you gotta give a boy a little fantasy :flipoff2:

Or if you want made-to-order, true bolt-ons at a very reasonable price try http://www.solidrockoff-road.com/ (2badfjs on MUD).

I just installed 2bads and all I can say is they are awsome, easy to install, price was right and made with great quality. Did some trail testing last weekned  and they held the weight of my rig no bending no problems. I like the quality, everything mounted nicely and they look great.

I would recommend two things when thinking about rocker protection. 1 Bolt on (I welded my protection to my Jeep and regret it after 4 years of hard wheeling)
2. Go with SolidRock, he was honest, easy to do business with and offered 100% support. Not to mention his protection is rock solid.

Watch out Jim - Mace's sneaking up behind you! And that's not a gun in his pocket.
