Hey J,
You are going to have to talk the HJ61 owner into upgrading to EVO grey powdered Steelies and Cooper ST MAXX 285/75/17 tires. That would be the icing on the cake for this rig when you are finished with the build.

HJ61 RHD High Top in for Cummins R2.8, new transmission and new transfer case. Front and rear coil conversion and a few other items.

I wish there was such a thing as TT ditch light mounts for the 60 series. What do you think?

Another 80 axle and coil conversion front and rear going in on @satchel 62.

I want to buy a new pinion companion flange for the 80 front axle I'm rebuilding for the swap into my '82 BJ60. From googling it seems that the BJ60 flange is 60 x 68.5 mm 27 spline. The 1994 (I think, but maybe 1993 - it has a locker) 80 axle has either 60 x 60 or 64 x 56 mm 27 spline. (I'm away right now so can't check which one it is). How have people been dealing with this for bolting to the front driveshaft?

I bought a multi hole companion flange and it didn't work. Had to take the original 80 flange to the driveline shop and have it drilled and tapped. Still waiting for it to come back. But should have done that in the first place. plenty of room on the companion flange to add the extra holes.

Jason, I have a small ( I know you’re a busy guy ) request. Might you have, or be willing to run off a spare lever for the knuckle measurement SST you have reproduced? I loaned my set to a fellow Mud member and seems to have lost the lever. Thanks, Bill

From his Instagram page looks like he has his feet propped up somewhere on vacation or was. I am sure it was much needed too.

I bought the Trail Gear, but what we didn’t know was that it wasn’t the original 62 diff. Not placing any blame, I didn’t know, so I couldn’t expect it to be right.

I got tired of making C-channels in house so had my laser cutter run a batch of steel and 304 SS plates for me.

The 304SS plates will be available next week once all the SS hardware arrives.

NOTE-- Stainless repair channels will come with all stainless hardware and PTFE liner sheet. While properly coating the frame will prevent possible galvanic corrosion the liner will add even more piece of mind. Millions of pipe stanchions in outdoor plants, refineries and energy facilities use this as an engineered SOP and it is proven on stationary and moving/vibrating systems.

@satchel rear conversion is rear and will go one next week
@DougRFJ62 staged andready to pull the 3FE and 5 speed for the LS3 EROD swap
@jmkfj60 new transfer, new 5 speed and Holley sniper is ready (bumpers and misc in progress at the TT shop)

Busy week for us and we love the work!
