TP1% Reading 16.1 at Idle....do I need an adjustment here? (1 Viewer)

16.1 at idle and 80.8 at full throttle, engine off on ultragauge. Do I need to look into adjusting the throttle?

I have an UltraGauge also.
My throttle plate is at 9% at idle & about 16% when in cruiser control at 55 mph.

I would check if your throttle cable is stretched or not. I would also check to see if it's adjusted so when it's floored that the throttle body also is fully open. In addition a poorly adjusted tps can hurt power a great deal.

Thank you, yea I had a suspicion about that, the motor on the truck feels great but definitely as if it's low on power compared to my old one. But this one doesn't feel "tired" the way my old one did, if that makes sense......just not getting all it's power.

So should I be fiddling with adjusting the cable at this point?

Just updating for the next guy, there was a HUGE difference when adjusting to 10.6 at idle....feels like a different truck.
