$4700😳

The question is, do you actually need them? I’m running stoptec rotors and pads on 35’s. I drive and stop hard and I’ve yet to fade them on mountain roads. My vehicle is equipped with the normal gear (bumpers, winch, drawers…) The rotor color is even and not very dark. That tells me I’m not overheating my rotors. If I go to a bigger tire, that may change. For now $2500+ Dollars will go somewhere else.

I’m already on 18s so clearance shouldn’t be an issue. I’ve been looking at redoing the whole braking setup up in front. So when sourcing all new calipers (or rebuilt calipers) rotors pads and brake lines I was getting up around $1000 anyway, so naturally I started looking for upgraded parts. My 80 is a 91 so the front brakes are pretty weak after heavy bumpers and 35s and need all the help they can get.
