Well... here I am. I've been in the 40 group (71 with 350/350 MS EFI tear down to the frame, 76 parts), the 60 group (88), the 80 group (93 triple locked), 100 group (00 LX for a short stint and an 01 LX we have, but for sale), and even the T4R group (97 manual SR5 currently).

Yesterday we picked up a 2011 LX570.


I looked at a 2009 (from BC) that was a no go due to surface rust underneath and several items not working for broken, a 2008 that was basically trashed with higher mileage a barely working AHC and a high price, a 2013 with low miles but no 3rd row seats non functioning driver heated seat and seemed to be really hard miles.... to then find and settle on this 2011.


It has a few issues that we will handle here pretty quickly (new tires... 267/75/20 BFG KO2), already removed the capacitor someone installed for an amp, repair the passenger seat heater base (probably a bad element as the back works very well), already ordered a new key and a rear entertainment remote. It also has an absolutely non functional heated steering wheel and it isn't the fuse. There wasn't a DTC that I saw (will reconnect techstream and poke around here soon) so I'm wondering if the button itself is just shot.
