Toyota Tacoma TRD Lift Kit - compatible with a 2019? (1 Viewer)

Hi all, no doubt everyone has heard of the factory TRD lift for the 2020-21 Tacoma short bed 4X4, I think it's a pretty good deal for what you get, but when I approached the parts counter they told me it wasn't compatible with my 2019 Double Cab TRD Off Road SB. Which I find hard to believe as it's identical to a 2020, including the TSS.

Anybody know a valid reason why it wouldn't work? It's shocks, springs, and a modified sensor grille to compensate for the lift. I don't get it, maybe a different grille sensor (which I doubt).

IDK why it wouldn't work on a 2019 but it looks like a spring block lift and shocks. You'd be better served by getting an aftermarket lift.

I still want the TSS to work, though.

TSS works just fine on my lifted Tacoma.
