It's been slow ever since iv owned it for 2 months and no it doesn't have trouble startingWell diesels are pretty slow to begin with.
Has it gotten slower recently? Or is this a new car that you haven’t driven much? Are you having a hard time starting it?
I don't have any experience with diesels, but if it's like a gasser you won't see much vroom vroom after changing oil and air filters. Was the truck running rough and you were expecting the filter changes to correct this?

Is it making any smoke or doing anything weird?
Badman9 is having power problems with his Surf also.

I had a problem with an occasional check engine light flashing on for a second or so, but it made no difference to driveability or performance. Doing the diagnostic port pin jumper, the check engine light would give code 12 (12 = No...forum.ih8mud.com
Sweet and I have a boost gauge and it's running 10psiPut a boost gauge on it and make sure your turbo is actually working. Inspect the turbo also. Check your engine codes. Make sure the boost sensor is still connected. Download the 1KZTE engine repair manual and start reading...it's all in there.
Takes longer like 30 sec or moreHow slow?
17 seconds to 100km/h would be about normal.

Both auto both got 31inch mudsYou say your mate's similar truck which is much quicker is a standard transmission, is yours as well, or auto trans?
Will it though, where's your data to back this claim up!?An EGT gauge will tell you if it's a fuelling issue.
