Hi everyone, just registered on IH. They told me lot about this forum so I did it.

I own this Toyota 96 minitruck or Hilux (how is called in Chile). Sad to say I didn´t build it from the begining, but I'm putting a lot more in it.

Let´s begging:
Celica Supra 7M GTE 3.0 turbo intercooler engine
Original Toyota gears mechanic or manual
Doubler trans
Solid Axles from a diesel toy pickup
4.88 r&p with electric blockers from 4runner
Doble gas tank
4runner pannel (with tach)
35 BFG rubbers (want to change'em)
Front springs from a Bronco
Rancho 9000 with on board regulation

Welcome to the board. There may be a few SUpra Swapers here. lot's of info for Supra swaps at www.supracharged.com .There is a board there too.

I'm interested in the coil setup, how do you like it? More pics. And pics of the snorkle plumbing.

I'm running a 7MGE. No turbo. Maybe next time

Mine is about the same as a 4.3, but in a diferent power curve. It runs best at 3500- 5500 RPM. and I can idle it down on the trail to 500rpm without a problem. It's not a rocket. ut 225 HP stock engine it fun to drive. The main thing about this swap is No Adapters, all stock Toyota parts. And the power curve is in the same RPM range, so no need to regear.

It has nothing to envy to a 350 sb

When you go up to 3000 rpm it´s a like the cat hiden in the pic. If you just go over, you feel like you are about to lunch

The CAT (=Gato in spanish) is for good luck...

Hey, you copied my design. :)
It amazes me how people around the world have similar ideas.
I only run a 7M-GE
But a 2JZ-GE is parked in the garage and ready to go in. :bounce:

Intercooler

I have to update the setup. I changed the intercooler for a smaller one. Crazy? Maybe but runs ok.
