More People Buying Toyota Land Cruiser Now That It's Being Discontinued
January was the best sales month for the Land Cruiser in a decade, and December 2020, the month Toyota said it would be discontinued, was second-best.
Thats why we have 3 200s now. Fear of no more V8 and the last of a legacy.
Now I don't feel bad for having two of them.

Step 1 - generate a sense of impending doom (no more Land Cruisers in the US). Step 2 - despite no change in supply, act as if they are an especially scarce resource. Step 3 - let supply and demand economics do its magic.
Step 4 - Remove features from a special edition and charge more.
Beautiful for profit margin.
