On my 2001 HZJ 78 a wire is broken close to the connector hold with my dirty fingers. I guess it is the position switch. Have been looking in the manual, but can not find the connector there. The fire is only referred to as "Frame wire".
Any chance anybody has the parts number for the connector?

I think you might find a picture of that connector in a wiring repair manual.
Look at Post #61 in the Online Manuals thread.

It looks to me like you need part # 90980-11250

Yes, that's the one, 90980-11250.
I was not aware of the wire-manual. That was great.

Thanks a lot.

I have bought more standard OEM connectors from a place in Japan.
They sell connectors made by the same companies Toyota bought from.
Sometimes I am able to find the connector in North America once I know the non-Toyota part name.
Eastern Beaver

That is a very common switch and connection, you can find it many times on the transfer case, in case you have access to any spare parts.

Thanks to manual here I managed to repair the connector (change wire)

Press on the white plastic retainer and drag it out:

Retainer removed. There is a plastic lock underneath the pin that must be pushed down:

Pin removed by dragging out from the rear side:

Thank you Erwin, fixing the plug saved me time and money.
The pandemic gave me time to clean the parts, below is the result
