Toyota non-usa vacuum advance ditsributor question (1 Viewer)

I just installed a non-usa toyota distributor in my 76 fj40. Is the point gap the same in these as the stock distributor, or does it vary? No directions came with the distributor so I set it to stock. I am getting slight hesitation at WOT and am considering the gap is wrong. I was wondering what others did when using this type of distributor?

I have this distributor on my F engine. Set to standard gap, there is no issue. I suspect you have a different problem.
