Toyota diesel 4x4 4-door dual crew cab pickup truck. These trucks are legendary in terms of their reliability. Arguably one of the most reliable trucks ever made. Very robust but still pleasant to drive around town and on the highway. Much easier to park than a full-sized truck and it can still comfortable fit the whole family. The tv show TOP GEAR claimed the Hilux is indestructible:

This is a legally imported truck from Japan. JDM. Which means it is right-hand-drive. After a week of driving you don't notice the RHD anymore. New front tires. Rear are in great shape. New muffler and battery. Wheels just balanced and aligned. Always used top synthetic oil. K&N air and oil filters. 5-speed manual transmission. 2-speed transfer-case. Locking hubs. Straight front axle!!! It has a hitch and tailer electrical hook up. Aftermarket stereo with remote. Everything works. It has some rust issues in a couple of spots including the front left fender, front left door, and the front corner of the bed. The tailgate also has a dent and the roof has some blemishes. I recommend finding a Forerunner or Tacoma fender, door, and tailgate at the recking yard and giving it a new paint job. Or perhaps you can find the same color body panels. It has a fresh charge on the A/C blows very cold. Roof rack. Tinted windows. Aluminum wheels. This truck has a clear Oregon title. It is located in Los Angeles. It was legally imported in the US and I have all the documentation. It is federally legal but I've heard conflicting things about registering it in California. I know many have gotten similar vehicles registered in CA but research this option first. Any other state is no different than any other vehicle. Great fuel economy plus diesel is cheaper than gas right now. I've got up to 30 mpg a couple of times but I had to really drive slow to get in that range.
