Lookin at headlight options for my 1995 Cruiser.

What does Toyota mean by “Composite” headlamp?

E.g. 81170-60215 at Norwalk Toyota, a sponsor here, I believe.


Is is all plastic?

Or plastic with a glass lens, i.e. original OEM quality?

I think only @cruiserdan or @beno can answer that question. I could interpret it both ways.

Composite =plastic. Land cruiser headlights haven’t had glass lenses since the 100 series I believe.

If you’re looking at head lamps for the 80 series they are in fact glass lenses if still available
