Hi there,

Planned to swapped my FJ40 axles to the Lc/80 axles. Got any other opinion?

Heard about Dana axles but there's no way to get it here.

My another options is to install axles fm Hjz 175.

Why? Disc brakes? Lockers?

Here those axles fm LC/80 equipped with electric locker. So I found out thats the best bet for my FJ ($$$ matters).

Not too sure about LC/80 axle gearing but saw a few fitted with 35's. Taking into account these tyres, must be at least 4.10 (i think so).

If you want the e- lociking diffs that fzj80 has.
You can swap them into Fj40 axles provided that you have full floating rear axles, but you need different axles shafts, the longer one in the front, and the short one in the rear . Also you 2 rear e-locking diffs from the fzj80. Not all 80s have lockers. There are also cable conversion kits you can get for these locking diffs

By the way, is there any heavy duty halfshaft set for LC/80 in the market?
