My 2005 4th gen apparently needs a new head gasket and related repairs (local Toyota dealer is coming up with a major list of items, apparently initial cost estimate of $7,500 which seems over the top...). I'm awaiting the formal report on work and parts...but they said it is estimated to take 35 hours of labor.....and most of hte cost is labor. They did say the initial quote included timing belt work, new tensioners new oil pan (why?), etc.
Curious if you all can recommend a reputable shop in the area. I actually live over by Issaquah.
