Toyota 200 Series Land Cruiser Rolling Chassis-Body Removed (1 Viewer)

Spotted this on CL this morning while shopping for some add-ons for my new to me 200.

I am not the seller and not sure yet about rules on cross-posting, just found this interesting technically as a new 200 owner.

So this guy took a 200 that was running and had a body in perfect condition and decided to remove the body and sell the chassis separately? That's odd.

Could've been the Lexus Baja truck. He took a spill last year and needed to replace every panel and repair his roll cage. Maybe he got a new cruiser or Lexus and is selling what he doesn't need.

There's got to be a back story on it. It just sounds fishy, you never know about chop shops these days.

Would I like to have it...oh yea. Tons of possibilities with that chassis.
