There are some light scratches and smaller chips on hood from the road I'm planning to touch up. Looking for recommendations the best and most easy application anyone may have used before. Thanks
The touch up pen from the dealer is the only one I've tried that actually matches. I usually sand the area. Apply the thinnest application of the paint possible, then sand the paint correction down to level, and use compound and polish until the shine matches. You can do it by hand or with a polisher.
Do you do that with a chipped dot as well? I've seen it on those DIY videos but hesitant to sand the area larger then what it is. Those kits also come with clear coat which is important to blend in the overall sheen
