Touch Screen Navigation Radio Help? (1 Viewer)

I know this isn't LC or LX but, maybe someone here has had a similar issue because the radio looks like the radio in the 2006-2007 LX470?

My college son's radio is not working on his Lexus 2010 ES350 with touch screen navigation and amplifier 86280-33170. The touchscreen is working fine.

When you push the audio button on the side, FM, AM and Bluetooth are the only symbols on the touchscreen. Touching the symbols will lightly highlight the screen but, nothing happens. The volume control does not work by the knob or steering wheel.

The first time this happened, I disconnected the negative battery post and then when the radio rebooted everything was fine. Then about 1 month later, the ES350 did it again and now removing the battery post does nothing to help.

So far, I have checked the radio fuse and two amplifier fuses under the hood. I disconnected the battery. I also disconnected the amplifier and reconnected. I checked the ohm level on one amplifier plug to see if a speaker was shorted out (all read around 4 ohms). I have searched all over the internet and YouTube to see if anyone had the same problem.

Can anyone help me?

Best bet is to go over to ClubLexus and ask them folk. Way more ES owners there than here.

I always do a followup in case it helps anyone in the future. My Radio Not Working problem was not my amplifier but, instead was my Head Unit.

The Head Unit is basically a two part head unit, so you don't have to buy the whole thing. For $100.00 (shipping included) I purchased an used bottom head unit 2010 Lexus ES35O Radio Receiver Face ID# P1867 86120-33E50 180417

Just plugged in the new head unit, no further programming or anything.

There is also a good video on YouTube on how to remove the head unit. It really was not that bad and took about 2 hours to do. I could probably do it in a hour now since, I know what to do.
