just a quick question....need to refinish the interior of the top on our fj40 since the headliner is long gone....would like to know what others have used....anyone use durabak?....anyone just paint?

You can get a headliner pretty cheap and it is easy to install with the FG top off and sitting on some sawhorses. Even I did it. Heh.

i used that floor carpet from auto zone and some vinyl flooring glue from home depot and it turned out better than i could have counted on. looks good

thanks guys.....i really did not want to take the top apart...but ed you have a point...headliner 80.00 + or -...durabak white...129.00.....i probably will install a new headliner...
