Black, but whata I know?
Garage shot at night...sorry about the poor shot.
black.... in my humble opinion they would look much better black.
but do it well or it will look worse.
EDIT-worse was the wrong word.
I meant you might end up with something that looked better before you painted it.
look worse? i didnt think they looked all that bad. they seem to be wider then most ive seen......
They look fine.....leave 'em red.
I vote for black. BUT, were the flares painted on the FJ or off? If they were painted while of the FJ then you could be opening up a whole can of worms when you go to take them off and end up not only painting the flares but also having to touch up the quarters as well...
leave them red. they look better
I think black would look great, for what it's worth! Durabak or LineX would look good too.
Color matched flares look better IMHO. Leave them the way they are.
Gotta listen to the Stones: "I see a red flare and I want to paint it black."
wow pretty much a 50/50 split on this one. me thinks for now they will stay as they are. now all i gotta do is decide on gettin black rock rims.........
either would look good IMO....that way looks like a wide body kit lol
Where do I vote?
<psst this thread is screaming for a poll>
id like to attach a poll, if i knew how to do this afte the thread has been started
they look good red, leave them.
IIRC it's under Thread Tools (near the top) or check the additional options area (edit the first post and look below the 1st submit button)
can't you just unrivet/bolt them, remove paint back to rubber black, mount them back up..
they look good red ,but i painted mine black . you in SASK? . my family has a farm out there .
