The vinyl was gone and looked like horrid -

So, I ripped it off and went with Diamond Plate

Yes, I used some old climbing holds for door handles...

Guess I am not a purist!

Very nice. The climbing holds are cool. Lots better than the sections of garden hose I had on my 40 doors before I sold them.
 
i would have atleast went with flatened lugs(forget what they call it), but then i'm not a fan of dp either.

did you put any plastic behind then to keep the rain out.........oh yeah desert...never mind :doh:

Yep, plastic and silicone...

Thanks all - it was fun and beat workin today.

I love diamond plate - just a big dumb redneck I guess...
