One goal on my last trail ride was to get everything as strapped down and secured as possible. Eventually I’d like to get a proper drawer setup. However for now, the harbor freight pelican case houses the impact driver, angle grinder, drill, saw, batteries, etc..

Having recently been in a multiple roll over with many loose items including a electric chainsaw and extra battery flying through the air in the same cabin area I occupied, I applaud and am fully in favor of your approach of making sure everything it strapped down!! I do the same on my rig. Better safe than sorry.

Took 2-1/2 rotations before we hit a tree and stopped.

Is that a unimog? How did it happen?

It is a Pinzgauer. The driver was backing down a hill at an angle and drove over something (I was told it was a stump) upsetting the balance, causing it to roll.

Could you elaborate about your air line run… did you just run an extension off the arb air chuck or use a manifold? What did you use for the run, tubing or hose?

Sure. The current setup is functional, but not optimal. I want to get braided line and cut it to length like the locker lines plus I need an elbow coming out of the manifold, but I was up against the clock.

It connects to the extra threaded hole on the little ARB manifold.

Very cool, thanks for the details. Running one outside the hood is on my list and since I didn’t install the compressor myself I’m not as familiar with it aS I should be.

I always appreciate some high quality inspiration and there’s lots on here.

Version 2 of my fridge and storage setup. I had planned to order the Dobinsons drawers, but just couldn't bring myself to pay the $$. So I modified my storage setup replacing the cubby with a deeper pullout drawer and some carpet and trim. I'm far from a carpenter, but happy with the outcome for my usage.

Added some backup lights in the cavities where the OEM reflectors had been. It's just some 1/8" plate that I used to make the mounts. I'd gotten a great deal on the pair of rigid lights, but they were a little too wide. So I trimmed the sides (where the mounting holes were) and then epoxied the lights into the mounts. Time will tell if they hold up, but seem to be surprisingly solid. I'd left as much plastic as possible inside when we trimmed for the bumper install, so there was plenty to attach to.

Added the Wilco Hitchgate Solo a couple of months back. This is the basic Solo model, not the XL or high clearance. It fits without issue as far as the tailgate is concerned. I really didn’t want a swing out, but after going from 34 to a 35, I couldn’t fit the spare underneath.
This truck gets wheeled moderately hard and I was apprehensive that this would take the abuse. However, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I beat on it for a week at Windrock and came down hard on it a few times. There’s been zero wiggle or issues. I haven’t tightened it again since the day I installed it.

I was not able to fit my wheel onto their supplied mount due to the wheel offset. Solution was to use an extra 1.25” wheel spacer I had to bump it out, after that it’s all good. The license plate mount is a cheap one from amazon for a Wrangler, I just modified the mounting holes.
