Also, finished up a chromoly (4130?) sway bar for @aquatech3. We'll see how well it works when it's on the truck. Pretty neat process to learn.

This is the same shaft I was machining in the earlier posts from this week.

@aquatech3 also needed some new steering arms for el chicharron after a failure at GSMTR last year. Milled them out of some 1" plate.

Drilled the hole pattern based off a dynatrac arm steve brought me, then contoured them on a rotary table steve gave me in exchange for the work. All of this on my 1950s bridgeport, all manual baby.

3d printed a centering dowel to get started, then centered the milling head over the rotary table, and got to work. Enjoy some photos.

Finished, as far as I'm taking them at least. Top, then bottom. Only the bottom is milled flat, no need to mill the top.

Steve will put these on and finish them up on the truck. Need the axle assembly to verify clearances and locate the tie rod hole.

Seeing these pics makes me understand how the rotary table works now. Awesome work!

The rotary table is cool, but the dividing head is the real superstar. I'm building one for my 9" Myford.
