ok... simple as that. Those who have owned either, what do you have to say about them? Strength, weight, looks etc.

I know most of you have ARBs, but why not the TJM? Both are similar in price and both have very good reputations as great bullbar makers.

and we all know what the ARB looks like.

were are the prices?

Well, I dont know much abount TJM, but chose ARB for my 100 (my 60 has no bar, only a winch-plate) because of looks and known reliability.

The TJM's has in some cases a higher center which is not to my liking....

Some of the pictures in the links indicate a sharp plate over/under the rollers, this would never be tolerated by authorities where I live (DK)...

Not have had any problems with my ARB... only in rusty climate the side-bars may need some extra protective coating where they join up anywhere...

just 0.02$

I went with TJM for the 100, because I wanted aluminum. AFAIK, ARB doesn't make AL.

I have no bar on the 60... yet.

Safarigard is really nice also! Really goes well with the round headlights. Only reason I probably won't get one is because of the cutting needed to fit a winch. But it does maintain a good approach angle... price you pay

I like it...

ive looked at a couple TJM bumpers and they are thinner metal than the ARB.
They actually double up the metal where they cut out the TJM logo to make them appear thicker. Did see some cool alloy ones though. There is another company in OZ that makes them, powder coated aluminum, fairly tough but really light in comparison. Cant remember the name off hand though.
