Why do you think they are too wide?

Waht are your plans for the rig?? (what conditions you wheelin in?)

My thoughts exactly.

mainly trail, rocks, not alot of mud

not a dd maybe a total of 500miles a year

a. the wheels are too wide IMHO..

b. They will look worse on a 12.50 tire...

Actually, those bolt heads will do wonders as a traction aiding device :D

Get some 35 x 15.50 sx's ;)

If your looking for input on pure asthetics, I think they look goofy. However, utility is fashion when it comes to 4wheeling, so go with what works best for your driving and conditions.
I would recommend some fender flares or you'll be eating mud on every turn plus they may be illegal sticking out so far.

are the 37 iroks more square than the 36?

i think the rim is too wide. that's why it looks funny.

wouldnt a 12.50 tire bring it in a bit?

I agree, to wide of a rim. I have 13" tires on 8" rims and love the way they look. On 10" rims, 15"-15.5" tires for sure.

aired down, you risk the possibility of losing air on the inside bead..

37 on an 8 inch wheel
or a 10 inch wheel
