On my current project I am using what I have around the place at this point. Well, on Thursday we went off the island for the second time in a year. After the regular shopping my wife wanted to do we stopped at the big ol' funky used tire place. Six Latino guys standing behind a fence and shooting the $#!+ and they are always willing to scope out the weird stuff I want. 33 9.50 15??? Well we only have one, but it's brand new. I had just bought the only 15" toyota mini truck wheel on the place. They mounted it on my new wheel and I was the happiest guy in the state of Washington on the way home. Today, Saturday I cleaned up the wheel for paint and since I have some good 255 85 16's and some old toyota splits, I started mounting some of them too. (Bought some new radial tubes while on the mainland.) The 255-16s are within 1/8th " of outer diameter of the 33 9.50 15 I had just bought. For now, I plan to run 33 x 9.50 x 15 on front and the 255s on splits on the rear. You gotta admit it's better than the Bias on the rear. Now I just need 3 more new 33 x 9.50 x 15s... BTW, that last picture was taken straight down on the tires from above.
