Just got my first FJ (FJ40 1973)... I was looking for tire sealant that discount tire used to carry. It is a graphite powder I believe. They stopped carrying it & have not been able to get me in touch with their supplier. I have used the slim based products buy I prefered the other stuff. Anyone know where to get it? or who is still carrying it? I am in South Tx & hope I can find some near by.

Thanks for the reply. I looked up Texas Tireseal but not much pulled up. is the one in hondo tx? do they do the graphite powder? I sure thought the stuff discount did was 100% dry application but maybe I am mistaken. thanks for the help.

It is going to very messy and no one will ever want to change your tires. Also go hit up your local AG tire shop. They use this all the time.

Don't expect your tires to ever be in balance at high speeds.

thanks for the info. I will check with an AG shop. I know a couple of guys running this stuff right now that have had it in for years before they discontinued it. they don't ever drive their's on the road but they never have flat tire issues. I do drive mine on the road for kicks sometimes so balance is a concern. sorry for slow reply. I have been fighting clutch issues on the FJ. rebuilding the slave & clutch master didnt even fix. time to buy total replacement.

i personally used this tire sealant with moderate success
its cheap tho...so u might wanna check it out
