I have read the FAQ and read the post about lowering the air pressure to the point that the ride height is 75% of normal height. My problem is that if I use this rule of thumb my tires are flat with less than ten pounds of air. I do not have bead locks, I usually run about 15 psi in the sand. does anyone run less air pressure. I am running 31x10.5x15 tires, my fj40 is stock.

i run from between 3 to 7 psi no beedlocks 33 12.5 15 bfg mud. if you do blow a bead just carry some either and a match.

I run my 31x9.5 tsl's, umm Fast Eddy's tsl's at 13psi when I go to the pismo dunes, haven't gotten stuck yet.

when i used to have 35" mud kings I'd run them at sand lake at 12psi. Worked good and never lost a bead

ps ground clearance doesn't matter much in the sand.
