Anyone know what the tiny o-ring in the carb rebuild kit is for? There are 2 o-rings, 1 is for the sight glass but the other is very very small. Thought it was for the idle solenoid, but I'm not sure since it doesn't look exactly the same.

I think, but I'm not sure... is it a paper/fabric o-ring? I think it goes on top of #27 in the SOR link here (second diagram). It goes on top of that "stopper" in the body of the carb, between it and the air horn assembly. One of those parts you lose when you turn the carb upside down over the lawn  .

humm, nope this one is rubber like the sight glass o-ring but very small.

Ah, I see. I don't know... I see the one I was talking about right next to it, though. Someone who knows what they're talking about will surely chime in...

I just purchased a tiny rubber O-ring from Spector to replace the one at the end of the idle solenoid ($7.00). This is most likely what you have.

Never looked there... guess that's why you pay a professional...

Good to know next time.

Yup, that's a 2F idle solenoid o-ring. Kinda important. Not hard to change after the fact, so no biggie.
