Your terrain is going to best dictate the compound and wear characteristics but here in Granite Rock Land Arizona, the KO2's have been wearing very well for me. My truck was 70% highway/work and 30% offroad and I have 50% tread after 4 years and 60K miles. I air down to 16lbs and have had very little chunking.

Going with another set of D-Tracs ($100 rebate)

Arrived today, but I won't have a chance to mount them until Saturday

OK, had these sitting in the shop since Monday, but didn't have a chance to mount them until last night

Unfortunately, the large cone for the balancer went missing, so I scooped up all the balancing beads from the old set, broke out my drug scale and had exactly 40.5oz, so I just put 8.1oz in each tire and called it a day :meh:

Feels smooth as glass compared to the old D-Tracs, but then again, they have over 120k miles on them

Best of all, I had listed them on Craigslist as "well worn with plenty of miles, but perfect for beach use" and had quite a few hits :)

Kid just came and picked up 4 for $100 bucks :smokin:

And here I am thinking I'd have to pay someone to dispose of them
