How much space is the ideal "minimum" between the bumper stop and the axle on the rear suspension? I still have the original with an add-a-leaf that was installed 7 years ago but it seems to be getting lower. Obvously if the rubber stopper is hitting the axle all the time it is time for a replacement. But barring that I was wondering for comparison purposes what the distance is on other non-lifted, extreme rigs. Just the standard. Maybe like somthing on an OME without the lift. Any measurements are appreciated. Thanks..

(Bottom line....It may be time for the inevitable and buy the OME DAkar suspension)

Supposedly ...

Stock rig Front 19" Rear 18" hub center to wheel lip.

I'm running Oz/OME and I'm 21" in front and 23" in rear. Yeah the truck is little bit jacked in the rear but seems to be fine.
