The 100 series is my favorite platform of any Land Cruiser.

There. I said it.

Now that Im bringing these in from Saudi with amazing simple interiors, 5 speed manuals, no ABS Ive fallen even deeper in love with them

During the time i was using my 1998 as my primary overland vehicle I never had a primary build thread on it. Just a bunch of random threads about tires and suspension components and a BUNCH of offroad trip reports.

8 years ago i gave it to my daughter. She named it Rhino and plowed through High School and college in it only to have me replace it with a LC250 for her graduation.

Thread '305/65/18 BFG KO2 Pics'

I just had some 305/65/18 KO2's installed on my 100. I have been running 295/70/18's......I never really loved these tires. They were a bit too tall (34.5") and a bit too narrow (11.25") for my needs.

Recently I bought some Slee Spacers to widen the stance some, but I was still not happy with the setup.

I stumbled upon this tire size that I previously did not know existed.

It is a 33.5" x 12.5" tire. Great size for a 100 IMO

While I was at it, I decided to raise my truck a bit.

I replaced the OME866's with some Slee Heavies. The ass went up 1.75" so I raised the front a bit to...

The next 100 I did much work on was one i bought for myself from Saudi last year.

This GX is one step up from a base model with cloth everything and a 5 speed manual and coil pack 1FZ

This is the most fun Ive ever had driving a land cruiser daily. Quick. Nimble. Unique.

When I was 15 I got a 1984 Toyota Xtra Cab pickup. The dude that was building my house bought a white single cab Toyota 4x4 pickup.

Picking this one up with Ward's VXR 100 reminded me of the story.

The next one I built out was the Royal Kush for @Justin Johnson .... the guy that bought my shorty 70

This thing is absolutely stunning. What a Cruiser it turned out to be. A real head turner.

I sold my FZJ70 to my boy Justin from Mobile. He got a peek of my Plain Vanilla FZJ100 that I just imported from Saudi and decided he needed one.
