Tighten Parking Brake? (1 Viewer)

The parking brake on my 71 fj40 is so loose its nonexistant...I need to know how to tighten it up

There is a cam adjustment that comes through the PB backing plate (points towars the front of the rig). Rotate the bolt on click at a time, and then try the PM again... if it never seems tighten, pull the driveline, the rear output nut and the drum and see what is going on inside.

Might also check the connection where it comes through the firewall, mine came loose there last year.
