In the name of everything great and small. I’ve tried everything to get my old tie rod ends out. Heat, pb blaster, a combination of both. I can’t get them to budge. Any other tricks/suggestions? This should be so easy. 🤬

I just did my tie rod ends, and I had one very stubborn relay rod end that just would not give. I ended up drilling right through it, sticking a piece of bar stock through the hole, clamping that in the vice, and then blowtorching the hell out of it, and then reefing on it with a large pipe wrench that I bought specially for this purpose. Tie rod ends might be harder to drill through than relay rod ends.

I don't know why one of the four ends was so stuck, but that's what I did to get it out. It was a real bastard, no question.
