has anyone tried flipping their tierod ends on their steering arms to take away some bad angles if so is there any thing special to doing this ?

i believe they are tapered

Yep, tie rod ends are tapered....you'd have to weld shut the holes on the arms and redrill/retaper. For that much work, high-steer arms might be a better solution.

how much are high steer arms?

I believe RBS has them for like $240 a pair....check Alan's forum under New Products

when i put my heims on, does it matter if the rod is on top or bottom of pitman arm?

with heims it won't matter...but clearance will dictate. I suspect the tie rod will still be below the arms and below the springs.

BTW: Ford towers will fit with Scout PS....doing it tonight at 5pm!

woody were did you get yours from?

Ordered them thru Ford in Neenah...the part number is on the Cruiser Facts section....took 2 days, $35 for the pair.

E5TZ-18183-A 88 F250 Ford part number for taller replacement front shock towers

Most acceptable.

Gotta "lighten" them tonight, give them that racing look....

geeezz...maybe I'm taking this "cruiser diet" thing a bit far....
