I am in the process of replacing all the swaybar rubbers. Hopefully that solves the issue.
Yah, could be that - when I finally swapped out my inner bushings I realized I had been living with a thumping against the fame just below my feet...

Sounds like you just have your T-bars indexed differently. You can re-index the drivers side and that will give you the same or more adjustment with the T-bar depending on how you index it.

I thought that but I was very careful and followed the directions from Slee to the letter. Any thoughts on what "popped" when setting the truck back on the ground?

I'm hoping this is the issue. I ordered all new parts for the sway bar to see as it needed it anyway.

I had a very similar noise and it was fixed after I torqued all suspension nuts/bolts to specs. I was surprised...I think the torsion bars to the lca are like ~160 or something and I am almost 100% my noise was coming from the lca bolts.

Good luck

FIXED IT!! Called Slee and told them what was going on. They said to check the shock mount bolts. Turns out the top nut on the front DS shock was not tight enough. The bushings are supposed to have a crown before any vehicle weight on them. I'm gonna chalk this up to newbie wrenching skills/experience. Thanks to everyone that posted suggestions!!

I have the exact same problem with my tough dog kit. On the DS side i hear and feel somthing knocking against the floor when driving bad roads.

Tough Dog lift and TT diff drop and my front end sounds like a 70s F150 - will get under there and check/tighten again, but curious if the bushings fixed your issues, or tightening, or other, or still a problem?

Originally I torqued all of the the bolts to the specs supplied with the slee diff drop. I went back in afterward and tightened ALL of the diff drop bolts more. I think it was the bolts going through the horizontal bushings that solved the issue but I can't be certain because I tighten them all
Same here. Was able to get a good turn on all of them. No more think for 3 years.

A bit frustrated here. Installed the slee diff drop along with new rear and front mount bushings. I'm getting some pretty nasty clanks and what not while driving now.

Sway bar bushings are near new, shocks are near new. Rig was whisper quiet before installing the diff drop and bushings. Left slee a voicemail but wanted to see if anyone here had any ideas.

Did you get the mounting bolts torqued down enough? IIRC they are close to 160 ft/lbs.

I initially got them to the 136. I did a bit more after reading this thread. I'll try for 160 once the kids go down. What are you guys getting the cross member bolts to?

I got mine to 150. Almost got worried about pulling the damn car off the jack stands. Did you swap out shocks or springs?

The torque setting is 137 ft lbs for those front rear diff carrier bolts

I did the shocks, rear coils and sway bar mounts about 5k ago. Oem tbar with about 1" lift. Ball joints and control arm bushings are all original still. It still drives tight so I doubt one of them are bad all the sudden, although they are recently leaking.

ah.. Then I must be thinking of something different. Thanks for clarifying. Disregard previous comment about torque settings.

Don't know if you saw my other post earlier in this thread, but the cause of my knocking, clanking, clunking, etc. after the diff drop and suspension work was the top nut on the shocks. The front DS wasn't tight enough. According to a call I had with Slee, the rubber bushings should have a bow to them when tightened down. So instead of looking like this: | | they should look like this ( ). Make sense?

Yep I saw that. I wish that was my issue. Shocks have been installed and quiet for 5k miles.

Gotcha. Can you give a little bit more info about the noises? When they occur? Under what conditions? Where on the vehicle?

It's most pronounced when starting the vehicle and going over bumps. Feels and sounds like a clunk under the driver side floorboard. Turning sometimes causes it but not always.

Capt- Did you replace the support arm that connects to the diff tube? If not, how was the condition of the bushing?

Unrelated to the DD, do you have Sliders? Any CV boot leaks?

Both the rear support arm and front diff bushings are brand new. I do have sliders. Cv boots were leaking but I repacked and put new bands on about 500 miles ago.
