Throttle position sensor

    As on my other post, I know nothing about engines, etc. A friend says that my throttle position sensor in my fj62 has been cut. All three or four wires. Does this affect anything?

    Yes. Your ECU might be able to compensate with other information,but will not have enough to properly caclulate all the variables. I suspect the first thing to suffer would be acceleration.

    Do you know why anyone would purposely cut the wires?
