Snake oil. Literally the same as pushing harder on the gas pedal.
It will not work on any throttle by wire vehicles.
A couple of friends have them in their Nissan Xterra. It's actually fun to use specially driving on different types of terrain. Slow response while crawling and high sensitivity on the sand.

We put one on our 2013 4runner, nice difference in throttle response and drivability. I know some people say snake oil but it does increase the responsiveness as well. As mentioned above it wouldn't be beneficial with a LC 100 as it uses a wire for the throttle.
