ewwww, bondo does the same thing, thats why taking a rusted cruiser to a body shop is stupied because it may look nice after but when the mosture sits on the bondo you would have been further ahead to oil it or fix it right with METAL!

Not too bad anymore since i've replaced half the panels.

I don't think the silicone is the cause I think the PO decided to patch the holes with silicone to try and stop the rust.. nice move .

well he did better than my PO who used duct tape and one of those clear plastic packaging like he ones you find some consumer electronic stuff hanging on the rack at wallmart to patch the driver's floor :crybaby:

I can't say all PO are bad. I've had mine 40 for about 5 months and my PO was the origanal owner.
