I have a 12/79 fj40 with 3.73 third members. I am wanting to go to 4.11. What years (of third members) will swap out? Thanks, Mark

A 4:11 third member from a late 60's to 78 FJ40/55/45 should be interchangable with your diffs. I have the same year cruiser and am planning on installing third members from a 77 FJ40 in mine, let me know how it goes. :G
