ive been planning a 2fe build with a cam (as per some write ups that ive seen here) to be done at the same time as i fix a compression issue (still to be determined what the exact issue there is...), but its lookin like cash will be coming up short.
my questions is: will i see an improvement with the cam installed, but an otherwise stock motor (desmogged though)? the cam seems to be much easier (if not only possible) to do while the engine is out being worked on, and the 2fe conversion seems like it could be done with the motor in the car at a later date after some more money saving. the cam im considering is the delta one that tonkota refers to, or something similar...
