I didn't realize any 40's would go almost 80 mph!
I guess that's my compromise to my re gearing for crawling.

I tried 400 grit sandpaper slid in as an abrasive between the ball and the plastic, improvement but still a fail. I don't think I have enough room to slide a star washer in with out cracking the plastic or something breaking but I do have another plan before I buy new mirrors, I shall report back.
