My Tridon t-stat arrived today, but with no gasket. Have you guys just went to the auto parts store and matched as closely as possible?

Well....I don’t know. I was trying to be proactive and have one on hand before I tore things apart.
I think the proper gasket is a 16346-30010, but in all of my research I found that a 16346-50010 may also work. With that more available part number in hand I went to a parts store to try it out - I think I have a match!
I just always try to have 3 times as many parts as I need before I tear into anything anymore. History has been a cruel teacher to me! 😁

Thanks- I guess I was having troubles with my searches for some reason.
I believe I have found one that works - not rocket science - just needs to fit around the rim of the thermostat I guess.
