2011 LC. 80K miles. Recently the thermostat has lost the ability to remember the last setting and will always be set at 75 when the car is turned on.

Anyone know why? Is there a small battery backup or writable memory associated with the thermostat setting that has gone bad? Have not seen any other issues besides the thermostat setting.

Thanks. First post. Been lurking many years. Had a 2000 LC for 11 years and now 2011 for 6 years. First problem!

Welcome! Odd thing to have happen, but it's good to have had no other issues for 6 years! Are the connections to the main battery good? I wonder if you're getting disconnected from main power briefly and often when the engine is off, leading to appearance of a reset to a default temp? Just a WAG.

Same issue here with '13 Cruiser...but not sure if it's a real "issue".

We have a winner. MFD - changing "Efficient Ventilation Mode" to ON fixes the issue. Not sure how it got changed. Thanks!
