sure looks good.

Hoping to wire and fire tomorrow. It’s down to the Sniper install now. Fluids are in. Fuel is plumbed.

Going to ensure TDC, reinstall the dissy. Plug wires. Wire the sniper.

Turn the key.

Hopefully this can all happen tomorrow.

I finally got back from the never ending vacation and had some parts waiting.

One such part was a new voltage regulator.

The Sniper has a built in volt gauge and I noticed last week the readings were way high. Like 16.7

So I grabbed a voltage regulator.

Now I have the regulator and I just looked all over the truck and can’t find one on it to replace.

My truck is a 76/77 timeline wiring diagram.

I found it in the diagram but damned if I can find it ON my truck.

Where is this thing supposed to be? Also isctgis the correct one?

Is sniper an alternator? If yes, is it internally regulated?

Did you plug in the old regulator? If yes, chances are someone unplugged it because it was already broke-did.

No, the Sniper is the Holley Sniper EFI. It has a LED screen that reads all sorts of stuff, one thing is Volts. Actually not sure how it does that.

I unplugged that when I redid the engine compartment.

That said, is that tiny box in the second pic the regulator? It’s much smaller than the one I purchased.

Couple of different screens ....
