And there’s the possibility that the buyers were just throwing parts at a P0401 as opposed to the sensor actually failing which I can’t ever recall hearing ofIf no one ain’t buying (IE: parts are not failing) no reason to keep making them.
I think I sold maybe 2 of those in 14 years of doing parts. Maybe 3. Max.
Fawk If I don’t H8 updates to this thread.

You would think, right?I’m sorry- didn’t Toyota announce they would be bringing back parts for the land cruiser and the Supra line vehicles? Seeing things like the lamps being discontinued contradicts Toyota statement.
Either u in (make the parts) or your out (not making parts), like pick a side bro (Toyota).

Which is cool, but easily circumvented stuffMechanical parts only, related to braking and steering. 40 Series only.
And?Which is cool, but easily circumvented stuff
Just saying it would be a lot nicer of them if it were stuff enthusiasts couldn’t fabricate or upgrade with later model stuff themselves. And?
Do you have a part number for the sensor and connector?Used a 4Runner one by switching out the connector. Everything else was identical, even the terminals. Just FYI.
…..says the guy who has access to every possible part in a climate controlled warehouseAnd?
There's no issue getting parts for your 95. Everything you mentioned is still very available. There are hard to find or discontinued items of course. How many miles are on your rig? Color? Locked? How much you selling it for? I call dibsHi guys, dumb question - How much of an issue is the discontinued parts for the 80 series?
Background - I am an old listener but haven't been around MUD much in the past 7 years or so.... Now that I am retired, I am thinking of putting my 1995 80 back on the road. It was in great shape back 7 years ago but I haven't driven since then and just kept in garage and ran it once and awhile (plus moved it around to try to keep tires ok).
Anyway.... I am at the point of putting back on the road this spring OR possibly sell it (what's the point of keeping it if I never drive it).
Question - is the lack of parts a real show stopper ?
I already have the head gasket kit but that's it... I assume I can still get the usual stuff like brakes ect? what about birf parts ect... ?
