I remember that feeling in December 2004, Petra. :) Enjoy! I'll see it when I get back from the Philippines.

I jinxed the day by saying "It's JDM...spring pins will fall right out!" Ya right...

I am getting to old and jadded to enjoy laying on my back trying to dig my shoulder into the concrete to get just the right position to work a tool. Hoist or pit man!!!! Oh well...one day...I'm just whining:D

At least the ARB bumper and Belton suspension is all installed now. Time for me to shower and bunk...workday at the firehall tomorrow.

Yup - it was a very long day indeed... Wrenching is no easy task. I doubt my usual Sunday Workout at the gym will be met with much enthusiasim (sp).

Took my daughter out for a ride this evening, and it felt good to be a few inches above the "crowd". The beltons are sturdy and give it a nice lift, however, the tires look like awful small now.... eek - you know what's next - or at least in the near future...

    The Obsession Begins....

A Special Thanks to Marco from Outback Imports for finding the truck that I wanted, and to Greg from G & S Cruiser parts for all the extra's for the really cool Mod's that are coming up AND especially for being patient with me today

    Cheers all.

Yes. Hoist would be preferred, but a pit would suffice. I console myself with the fact that we have a concrete floor, power, and some tools...which is much more then many. I consider ourselves very lucky and am grateful for these small things.

One day a hoist though :D

looks good with the flares off and the smoker vents removed.

also the arb is much nicer look than the chrome factory bumper.

ya tires will definately be the next request... keep up the good work.

oh ya how was the interior on that unit?

Yes - I really like the look without the flares. We have some holes to deal with yet... any ideas? Plugged them with plastic plugs temporarily, however a little concerned with moisture buildup and eventual rust.

The interior was smoked in, no tears though. However, after the detail everything came out bright and clean.

Oh - and I got some Landcruiser Mud Flaps as well.... and the 33's are on order...
