Is that a good thing?

Good I suppose, shifts blame away from it being a metric vs standard issue / the tool I have won't work.

I've got a different soft line in the used parts stash I can try for getting it rolling around the yard to see if the cylinders need replacement. Hoping to get it together and have a master list of "little" parts to order from Kurt, Georg, Onur etc rather than the hassle of ordering a one or two things at a time along the way. So far I've gotten by much better using parts on hand than I expected.

A start on the exhaust... need to make and weld on a couple of oxygen sensor bugs, then I'll leave the remainder of it until after the truck is mobile.

Friggin awesome.

O2 sensors in and hooked up, alt mount and idler bracket modified to work, brackets to adapt 60 series rad made..... about 1.5" clearance between the rad and fan.

Looks good. Like don't need a shroud being that close

Everything under the hood is fairly togetherish... Still need to get power steering lines in and steal the belts from Wobble to get the water pump and accessories running. Steering column is modified to accept the 62 ignition and light / wiper switches and is together with the 62 wheel (until I get to modifying the 55 wheel to mate with the turn signal cancellation of the 62 switch).

I have a live one on my hands. Spot got bored today, stole a battery, broke out of the shed, huffed some gas and went for a joy ride. :D I wouldn't have known, but he's pretty loud ripping around with straight pipes.

The "to drive around the yard" portion of the to do list is crossed off, next up "to drive around the grid roads".
Tested out a big air compressor last night too. 15.4 CFM @ 150 PSI, should serve me for the rest of my days. Thanks Dean. :) Still need to run some lines through the shed for it.

Let's see pics of your lighting upgrades! Will Spot be coming fishing in SK? :)

Pic once it happens (maybe tonight), heavy on want to for Sask, but I imagine work will get in the way. Sounds like back to work in a week and a half. Should have some stretches off through Q3 and Q4, but I don't know if it will be a predictable plan or well by well a far as when the stuff I work will come up.

Teaser pic of Spot's new friend.

Spot's new friend came with a set of 5 welded rims with clips for center caps. Tested and verified they clear the 60 series calipers. :) So if I decide to go with skinnies like Q78 TSLs, I'll be able to run center caps and keep an authentic / vintage / hipster douche look :D

Have massaged the 62 gauges in to the 55 gauge panel. Was hoping to get the tach in their too, but not enough room in the dash opening, even if I made a new panel. So I'm thinking I'll mount the tach on top of the dash, or under it beside the steering column.

Had been picking away at the exhaust back in the summer, finally got back at it a bit more last night.

Collects the down pipes, then over the driver's frame rail. Muffler will go between the frame rail and rocker, with some slider/skidplate protection.

Muffler tuck up out of the way. Just need to add a bit of tubing behind it to direct out under the rocker, and hit it all with some high temp paint.
