BUT!!! I don't think the pattern listed for the 8/1989 pattern is right?

I think it should be 11mm bolt with a 66mm x 66mm pattern (27 spline)... Anyone?

What about 80's, all the same pattern?

Nice!

Thanks for hosting that Kurt.

I am going to link it up here rather than going btwn here and there...

8/1989 looks wrong?

I think the rest looks correct - anyone else care to weigh in on this?

Maybe we need to post in the 80 forum to ask about flanges on those machines...

What a great thread. I have always wondered why I keep
ordering driveshaft bolts from SOR and keep getting ones
that are too large. My '68 is right on the cusp of the change
over and uses the tiny 8mm bolts. I have found some 5/16"
Grade 8's that seem to work OK but I cannot tell you how
many mild steel bolts I have sheared in half. Kind of scary.

How bout 84 thru 89 LC's? What are the pattern's / sizes on the 60's?

similier issues

so for some clarification, I have a 69 transfer case, I have a newly installed front end of a 78 that is a different bolt pattern, keep in mind that the transfer case is thick spline while the new front end is thin splined (disc brakes). I cannot use the same flange for my driveline becuase of this, So i cannot hook my front end up with the transfer case currently becuase of the incompatibility issues. Has anyone else run into this same issue? and if so what do I do? make an adapter? does someone make a conversion kit? buy a new custom made driveline? ($$$$!) help!
