Just picked up a 1980 here in the Denver area; she has some tub rust, but lots of potential. I've seen 79+ models that were a lot worse on the rust side than this one.

OME suspension/greasable shackles with BFG T/A 33x10.50s mud terrains. Aftermarket grey wheels. 200 miles on everything. Drives great. Lots of service records starting in about 1983. Original paint and interior.

My plan is to camp and wheel her starting this weekend. By the end of summer, I will have a light cosmetic restoration done on the body and probably go back to the stock steelies for 1980. The Bestop soft top is also gonna be sold soon, as I have a Paki top and bows on the way. Other than that, just gonna be a fun rig.

Looks like a decent find.

NICE!! That'll be a blast with your kids.

A few more. New OEM cap, rotor, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, etc. went in earlier this week.

Boy, it was fun picking up the wheels with the 33s mounted. I am a sucker for OEM wheels.

I ended up using Aqualu smooth panels for the rear corners; very impressed with them.
